Every organization is different. Even within the same industry vertical, while having the same end goal, organisations will have drastically different current maturities, priorities, and budgets. This is all the more true for industries in different geographical regions. In order to ensure that correct Industry 4.0 solutions are deployed, and in the correct sequence, it is important to assess the current maturity of the organization. This becomes the foundation of all future planning, ensuring that the roadmap is in line with a specific organisation’s financial, technological, and cultural profile. 

The Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) was created with this single goal, and is designed to help organisations assess their current maturity and compare it with Industry Best and Industry Average in their own industry vertical. 

The SIRI Maturity model was created by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), in collaboration with McKinsey & Co., SAP, Siemens, Fraunhofer Institute Germany, and TÜV SÜD Singapore.

A SIRI assessment follows the following three step process:

1. Educate the customer about Industry 4.0 and SIRI Model. This step lays down a common foundation of concepts and vocabulary between the assessor and the organization. It also serves as the basis for all future initiatives. 

2. Measure the current maturity using the SIRI Assessment model. This is a 2 day assessment where we talk to a cross functional team in your organization, and assess the maturity of your various processes. 

3. Identify the high impact areas which, when targeted, will yield the highest and the most tangible returns on investment for the customer. 

The Official SIRI Assessment (OSA) is a 2-day   

workshop to evaluate the maturity of your organization, and present and official SIRI Assessment report. Conducted at customer site, in collaboration with a cross functional customer team.

• Understand current processes
• Understand current KPIs
• Understand current cost profile
• Populate the SIRI model with above data, and generate OSA report
• Explain the report, and provide recommendations for next steps.
